Link Loving My Favs

Today I’m shouting out to my favorite blogs, some large, some small, some medium, but all wonderful.

Without further ado…

9 Techniques for Developing Patience which we could all utilize.

Debunking Rebate Processor Jobs?

A list of today’s job’s available from Daily Telecommuter where you can get a new list daily to apply for work at home jobs. This is not the only option you have, by any means, there are lots of things you can do to make money at home, but I am not at all the first to write about it, so do not fail to check out the Complete I’ve Tried That Guide to Telecommuting.

Then of course there’s a Invaluable Access to Work from Home Companies well documented here.

For the lighter side of why you’re here, I’m going to link to some of my favorite bloggers who have nothing to teach us, at least, not on the surface, although I do learn from them daily.

JD Love’s the 80’s so we don’t have to, thank goodness, because my 80’s and hers were starkly different, LOL!

CardioGirl is a recent favorite of mine, not only for her great posts about sunglasses, etc. but also for the commentaters that she attracts, they are all hilarious and wonderful people. Tell her I sent you, she’ll appreciate that, lol.

That’s all for today folks, see you on the flip side (tomorrow!) :)

SMCstreet.com and NewFuture.com

We all want to make money quickly, painlessly, some of us play the lottery religiously even though we know the odds are stacked against us, even if we win!

So what’s a person to do to make money enough to retire on and actually have a little fun in life? Read on. Don’t waste your money, spend the time to learn a little and read great posts from experts who know.

SMCStreet.com
I’ve done numerous articles like this before, I can spot the commercials easily. Don’t buy into this folks, it’s not worth your time or your money. I assure you that you can find much better programs, much better products and much better coaching elsewhere and for free.

NewFuture.com
If you want to buy gold and you want to buy oil, you do not want to buy it here. Invest in smarter things with more reputable companies.

FREE!

The first three are my absolute favorites, I’ve been reading these blogs, some since their inception.

Work at home jobs.
www.DailyTelecommuter.com

Learn how to blog on the internet.
www.StartBlogging.net

Programs you want to try, check them out here and on I’ve Tried That.com, they can recommend numerous programs that they’ve personally tried and can virtually insure your investment, and you can’t beat the no nonsense way they bust the scams.
www.IveTriedThat.com

Great affiliate sales advice and a no nonsense approach to selling, thinking outside the box and making money.
www.ShoeMoney.com

Entertaining and informative in the blogging world..not to be mistaken for JOHN CHOW at JohnChow.com who is also a great source of information for making money on the internet, my favorite of the two however is that Royal Cow. :D
www.JohnCow.com

Ultimately it is up to you if you want to get involved in a program like this, but there are much better sources of information that are free, when what you pay for is less than stellar. What’s worse is sometimes the information you buy and the products, they are dated and you couldn’t sell it if you wanted to, so you decide you want to make your money back, not gonna happen.

Use your money smarter, research the right kind of investments and invest for the long term, in my opinion, and it’s only an opinion, that’s the smart way to go. Please don’t mistake this as financial advice on a professional level, think of it more like a friend telling you to avoid “XYZ Supermarket” because the prices are inflated and the produce looks terrible.

Stick around, browse and look at the other sites I’ve researched for you and get acquainted with me and Sabrina’s Money Matters, I’m here to save you money, show you how to make a little easy side money and have some fun too.

You can do paid surveys with free survey site Survey Savvy.

Or if you already have a blog, you can sign up to do paid reviews for free through PayPerPost.

Ask me about it if you have any questions or look through my reviews category and check out how I do them, not too hard really.

So don’t be a stranger and thanks for coming!

The GREAT Theme Song Challenge

Canucklehead is a blog I linked to in my Link Love Overdose last week, and as I perused his site yesterday, I noticed he had written a post challenging other bloggers to find a theme song for their blogs. Well, I am taking the Theme Song Challenge!

A long time ago, when I started this website, one of the first videos I ever posted was this one…because that is after all the theme of this blog - and the way that I love music, it just made sense to me.

When the idea for this website came about - I swear that’s what I heard in my head as I was building it. I could sing the lyrics, but nobody wants that. As I write this it echoes in my head. :D

Oh, I could watch that a dozen times and never get bored with it. I shall share those lyrics now so that you too can be more familiar:

Money, get away.
Get a good job with good pay and you’re okay.
Money, its a gas.
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash.
New car, caviar, four star daydream,
Think Ill buy me a football team.

Money, get back.
I’m all right jack keep your hands off of my stack.
Money, its a hit.
Don’t give me that do goody good bullshit.
I’m in the high-fidelity first class traveling set
And I think I need a lear jet.

Money, its a crime.
Share it fairly but don’t take a slice of my pie.
Money, so they say
Is the root of all evil today.
But if you ask for a raise its no surprise that they’re
Giving none away.

Huh-uh! I was in the right!
Yes, absolutely in the right!
I certainly was in the right!
You was definitely in the right. that geezer was cruising for a
Bruising!
Yeah!
Why does anyone do anything?
I don’t know, I was really drunk at the time!
I was just telling him, he couldn’t get into number 2. he was asking
Why he wasn’t coming up on freely, after I was yelling and
Screaming and telling him why he wasn’t coming up on freely.
It came as a heavy blow, but we sorted the matter out.

Yes, I know the last verse doesn’t really make sense - it was the 70’s okay? LOL.

There is one other song I want to share with you that I think ties in nicely with this blog, if I can designate two songs for my theme songs, this would be the second.

That was “Fly Like an Eagle” by the Steve Miller Band - another of my favorites. Not only for the musical qualities, but also because of the message. Check out the lyrics:

Time keeps on slippin, slippin, slippin
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin, slippin, slippin
Into the future

I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
Till I’m free
Oh, lord, through the revolution

Feed the babies
Who don’t have enough to eat
Shoe the children
With no shoes on their feet
House the people
Livin’ in the street
Oh, oh, theres a solution

I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
Till I’m free
Fly through the revolution

Time keeps on slippin, slippin, slippin
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin, slippin, slippin
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin, slippin, slippin
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin, slippin, slippin
Into the future

I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
Till I’m free
Fly through the revolution

Time keeps on slippin, slippin, slippin
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin, slippin, slippin
Into the future

So I have answered that challenge, and raised you one! Will you take the Theme Song Challenge? I’m anxious to see what y’all pick for your songs, please comment here if you’ve read this here and link back to your post and I’ll check it out!

Thanks Canucklehead!

Working Too Hard Wednesday

In lieu of taking on debt for Christmas, my husband and I are both working overtime every week to get some extra money for the holidays, and we’d like to hang a few things on the walls in our house. We’ve been here now 7 months and have decorated only one room. :D

So I’m headed out early today and working late, and some over the weekend, for as long as they’ll let me do it. Extra money is always nice to get the things done you want to get done.

So, today I’m going to point you to a few of my favorite blogs or websites, I read them regularly and learn a lot from them as well, some are just for eye candy, but they’re definitely worth your time.

I’m sure you’ll find this site just as intriguing as I do Planetary.org thanks to stumble, I have a new bookmark. :)

Leo Chiang.com
This blog is one I’ve only been reading for a little while, but he’s funny and so are the people that comment on his blog I would definitely check it out if I were you..this post is about the writer’s strike that started yesterday.

FortuneWatch.com
This is a blog my husband told me about a few weeks ago, and I’m glad he did, today there are tips on saving gas mileage, which are useful now that the price of oil has risen, yet again.

And finally, I went to one of my favorite blogs to find that it’s been hacked. Wonder what we’ll see tomorrow?

It’s been a while since I mentioned this, but if you’re looking for a great survey site to get paid through and make your voice heard in market research, join Survey Savvy.
