I like to think I’m not a complicated individual, but as I get older I realize little intricacies about my personality, likes and dislikes and find that maybe I am just a little bit complicated. But those that know me I would say think highly of me for the most part, and that doesn’t come by speaking your mind all the time. I’ve always been one that believes there’s a time and a place for everything and that realizing that can put you much further in life than if you take it upon yourself to inform everyone always how you feel.

I treasure my friends and family, I realize we don’t have long on this rotating thing and I would like to live it up while I’m here. I work on this website like it’s a drug, sometimes I have lots of inspiration to run off of and can turn out several articles at a time. Sometimes my thoughts are dry as a desert and I’m grasping at straws for ideas. But I’m always here, even if unproductive.

This website was started in an effort to share what I know with you, to keep me busy, and for me to learn how to run a website. I’m convinced I have a mild form of ADD but I don’t think that it’s a bad thing, I think some have worse cases of it than mine. I have found that if I keep myself busy with constructive tasks, then I’ve harnessed that energy and really mastered what it can do for me.

I think I’m a driven individual, more so than some. I get bored quickly if things aren’t changing and I don’t see progress around me. I live with unrest and frustration pretty regularly. I have very little patience and a pretty short fuse. Friday Frustration was my way of bringing a forum to you that would help you let loose with me. Misery loves company right? LOL. ;)

However sometimes I disregard the energy burst and would much rather sit on my butt and play video games or watch tv, or something other than “working”. But I find myself back here when I get on the internet, so I have to disconnect from my PC to stop working on it and wondering what more I can do to bring information, and thus options, to you.

Two years ago I would never have believed you if you’d have told me I’d be writing and building websites. Crazy stuff!

$20 Dates was a result of inspiration, a little modification and some creativity. I think it turned out well, it’s one of the more popular series I’ve done. The personal security pieces I’ve written, like how to lock your credit report are pretty popular so I’ll be trying to bring you guys lots more of that.

I work for a private investigating firm, and also an attorney, who is also the person who started the investigative firm 35 years ago, I’ll tell you, it’s like working on the set of law and order! I used to be addicted to that show and then I started working where I do now and don’t even care to watch it anymore, there’s enough drama at work to fill my need for it. LOL. It’s interesting and I’ve learned a lot and will continue to learn a lot. I definitely look at things differently now than I did before. In fact, my boss was on Court TV recently regarding a case he was an investigator on.

Since I started working there a lot of change has occurred, the most important one being that my boss’s wife was diagnosed with cancer, and in an effort to keep friends updated and share the experience with others who may be going through it, they asked that I build ShanaBearden.com, which has shown what a network of people my boss is surrounded by, and what good people they are.

Since that time, a new diagnosis has come about that is more severe, with it occurring in less people there are less treatment options, however the opportunity with the website is still there to inform people of their options with this illness, Peritoneal Mesothelioma. My boss, given what he’s done in the past and the experience with all types of people that he has, was able to get his wife accepted into a treatment program that is very promising. Just this week I built another website for his daughter who will be getting married on Flag Day this year. ChrissyandDoug.com will be a great place for her to keep friends and family informed, for herself and her fiance.

I enjoy my job and the people that I work with, more so than almost any other job I’ve ever held before, but make no mistake every job has it’s stresses and my ultimate goal has always been and still is to work from my home. Building websites is the beginning of something promising I believe, that might further that goal of mine. I really would like to see that goal become a reality in the next two to four years.

That’s just a little about the person writing for you every day, I’m just like everybody else after all.
