PrivacyMatters.com is a SCAM!
I was doing a little research a few days ago and discovered that there are a whole boatload of new credit report related websites that all redirect back to PrivacyMatters.com.
There could be no more ironic url. Privacy Matters? Really, they’re using that? The cojones!
Okay maybe they’re private with your credit card number, but not your name, email and phone number, which they sell. Yes, they sell it!
I was fumed, really hot under the collar. I can’t stand liars and that’s a bold faced lie they’re telling you right off the bat. “PrivacyMatters” insinuates trustworthiness and with this particular site, there should be none.
It’s the same old lame game folks. You don’t get choices with these people, there is only one way to get your credit report and that is to give up your credit card number and sign up for a “FREE TRIAL” of their credit monitoring service. Which you don’t need unless you’re doing one of these things:
Making a large purchase.
Disputing items on your credit report (and only sometimes then).
You suspect your identity has been stolen.
Aside from this too, I want to mention, when you’re on, if you’re on web pages such as this, don’t accept cookies, any of them. The in depth reason why is for another article, and not really the topic of this blog, but when you go to privacymatters.com for instance, you’re prompted to accept 6 different cookies. Why, you ask? For ads.

Here is page two where they get your email address to sell and bombard you with email….
And the final page I knew was coming where the only option you are given to obtain your credit report is to give up your credit card number for a “free trial”…
Read You CAN Spot a Fraud to find out why I call them a fraud..and be sure to get your credit score and report from a reputable source.
I expose these sites as scams because it irks me that they prey on people that just want to obtain their credit information. But here’s the kicker about PrivacyMatters.com…so far I’ve found 9 sites that redirect to PrivacyMatters.com and here they are:
FreeTriple1.com
FreeTriple2.com
FreeTriple3.com
FreeTriple4.com
FreeTriple5.com
FreeTriple6.com
FreeTriple7.com
FreeTriple8.com
FreeTriple9.com
Pretty sneaky, huh? I couldn’t believe it and can’t exactly recall the search terms I used to discover this…but all the same, check it out for yourself if you don’t believe me.
I’m adding this as a page to follow FreeCreditReport.com is a SCAM! and FreeTriple3.com is a SCAM! I don’t want anyone to miss the chance to save some time and money.
