So we all like free stuff, that’s easy. We all click on “FREE” quicker than a dollar sign with a number after it. Naturally.

So let me give you a peek at what you’ll get with Google Pack, there are a grand total of 14 programs for your use!

Sneak Peek:

Mozilla Firefox with Google Toolbar - I downloaded this about two months ago and there’s no going back for me. The pages load faster than with Internet Explorer, my information is more secure and there are all kinds of things you can add to Firefox. IE doesn’t have that many options.

Google Earth - I use this for everything I need to find, I fire it up, type in food, and it finds local restaurants. I type in grocery, Google Earth finds me grocery stores. So handy…..and free.

Picasa - A photo organizer with functionality very similar to Photoshop and incredibly easy to use, you can organize your photos in multiple folders and set up screensavers as well with another program in the pack (you have to download to see)….and free.

Adobe Reader - Very handy to have, lots of PDF files on the internet, you’ll need this for those files, you can also use it to secure your own documents. Very useful and good for document security….and it’s……free!

RealPlayer - Organize music, video and MP3 files, transfer music to your MP3 player or Ipod. I use this program all the time, I have more music than my MP3 player holds, so I shuffle it around weekly, this is a great program with real ease of use….and it’s free.

Skype: Voice, video and chat. Make free voice and video calls to anyone else on Skype. Since it’s free, get everyone to download the pack and you can all chat for free. Cell phone minutes? No need! You can also call landlines and mobile phones, so it’s available to call anyone you need….and it’s free!

Spyware Doctor Starter Edition - This is not the only real jewel, they all are, but this kind of program is a must, you’ll have to download the pack to see the rest, but let me say….you’ll be very glad you did.

You can never go wrong with software that is web based, mainly because you can access it from anywhere with an internet connection. You can use Google Documents and Spreadsheets for all your documents and storage. Personal computing is more mobile now than it ever was, and there’s no indication of that stopping.

Did I mention it’s all FREE? And there are 7 more programs that I did not mention.
