I’ve been tagged by Christi at Christy’s Coffee Break for the Five Reasons Why I Blog MeMe.

So now for the five reasons I blog:

1. I’m addicted to research. The ironic part of that statement is that I hate school, my mind goes on rebel and I can’t do it. I wind up skipping, not taking it seriously, or I get mediocre grades. Either way, that structured learning stuff is just not for me, I control what I want to know and on the internet, it’s ALL at my fingertips, I’m fascinated.

2. To fulfill some wierd need to help other people. I have learned a few things in all these years of research, trial and error. I want other people to know it too, some people don’t have the time or patience to find out all these answers that I may be able to condense into an article, or several.

3. I get to learn new and interesting things from other bloggers and develop what some would call a skill. A year ago I took two web development classes, got my feet wet in HTML, since then I’ve been enjoying using a little of that, I learned enough to spot bad code, but not enough to full on write code either, lol. The good thing now, is that you don’t really have to know that stuff to be successful with a website, or so I’m told, I’ve found it very useful.

4. I have been restless these last few years, knowing there was something I should be doing, could be doing to further my life in some way. Something related to some sort of progress. I think my blog is coming along nicely, I have lots more information to give and research to do and a community to build. It gives me something to do, I don’t like to watch TV much, I get bored with video games very quickly, unless its Galaga or Pacman and making a little money on the side might be nice. :)

5. After reading blogs for around three to four years now of other peoples’, I want to put my voice out there and join in the chorus of people revolting from the norm of the 8 - 5 come home and cook, wash and clean, etc., boring life. Less and less people are reading magazines and more and more people are reading celebrity blogs and getting their news from the internet instead of the paper. I’m just throwing my hat into the ring.

So the five people I’m going to tag are:

Wild Bluff Walt from Wild Bluff Media
Dazd at Dazd and Confuzed From Here
Wonder Woman at Disjointed Intelligence
MasterSparky at Not So Boring Life
and last but not least….
Manthem.

I hope you’ll all participate…
