I was talking to my son this morning about what I do on the internet, and vaguely explaining that I make money on the internet while I was looking at my Survey Savvy stats online. I showed him that I had 17 referrals and one person who had signed up under me had gotten a survey and completed it so I made $2.00 off of that.
He was perplexed. He asked what the $2 was for, so I explained that the things people use and buy, companies want to know how they like the product, so they can make more of that product or make something better (simplest I could explain it) and they pay people like me to tell them what we think. He raised his eyebrows and said, “That’s crazy.”
From the mouths of babes.
My son is very interested in what I’m doing because I set up a jewelry button on my page, so he’s always looking at the jewelry asking if he can have what he sees, this morning it was a nice looking ring with roman numerals like a clock around the outside, size 11.
This 9 year old, whose fingers are only as wide yet as pencils, asks for a size 11 ring, and his justification for having it even though it was too big was he’ll wear it on his necklace and grow into it.
Funny how they turn things around on you.
